The Truth Revealed: Debra Medina A 9/11 Truther

Republican gubernatorial candidate Debra Medina, who is withing striking distance of the the runoff, with poll numbers equal to sitting Senator Hutchinson's (New poll: Medina within runoff range in GOP race) question whether the government was involved in the 9/11 terror attacks.

A few days ago, I questioned her advocacy of the spurious doctrine of "nullification", which is the position that a state can nullify federal laws and international treaties. From 6 Feb: Texas GOP Candidate For Governor Debra Medina Advocates Nullification.

Houston Chronicle: 9/11 comments trip up gov hopeful Debra Medina

[W]hen talk show host Glenn Beck asked whether she believed the government was involved in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Medina said people raising that question were slinging “mud” at her but went on to say:

“I don't have all of the evidence there, Glenn, so I don't, I'm not in a place, I have not been out publicly questioning that. I think some very good questions have been raised in that regard. There are some very good arguments, and I think the American people have not seen all of the evidence there so I have not taken a position on that.”

No, sorry! There are no good questions that have been raised. Just crazy ones.

I am sure she will be backpedaling furiously, but the original answer is doubtless what she actually believes.

Debra Medina apparently believes that the Federal Government, which was led at the time by a member of her own party, would kill thousands of its own citizens, and somehow collude with Islamic terrorists to attack its own country.

That this person is running for office, and gained not insignificant support within the Republican Party is both crazy and sad.

WRONG. There is no record of Medina being a 9/11 Truther anywhere. She has clarified that she is not a 9/11 Truther.

The original Medina 'Truther' rumor began by a Rick Perry sockpuppet on the Dallas Morning News:

She was probably just trying to be polite. Her answer was 'not relevent to Texas issues.' Does it reveal her to be a little wet behind the ears? Yes. But the way Rick Perry is jumping on this as if it were true practically stinks of Libel.

Her comments to Glenn Beck speak for themselves.

So, let me get this straight... according to the supposed conservatives that are now viciously attacking Debra Medina...

It's okay to question the "scientific consensus" of global warming - especially since it is more of an Al Gore democrat kind of thing.

It's okay to question whether or not our government is trying to ration health care and pull the plug on granny...

It's okay to question whether Obama was born in the United States or not...

Oh, but don't dare express doubt about the "official government consensus" concerning 911.

It's a pretty naive and bold statement to assert, as Glenn Beck does, that our corrupt and dishonorable government, or anyone in it, had NOTHING to do "IN ANY WAY" with 911.

I'm noticing some real double standards with these fake conservative shills.

There is an ENORMOUS AMOUNT of evidence that the government commited the 911 attacks, and not in cahoots with the islamists, but on their own . see 911truth.org
